Monkey torture case: Animal activist, NGO fail to obtain leave to challenge NFA decision

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 — An animal activist and a non-governmental organisation (NGO) failed their bid to obtain leave from the High Court today to challenge the Attorney-General’s (AG) decision for refusing to take further action on a police report in a monkey torture case.

Animal activist, NGO seek court order to prosecute man who tortures monkeys

KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 — An animal activist and a non-governmental organisation (NGO) today filed a lawsuit seeking a court order for the Attorney-General's Chamber (AGC) to prosecute a man who tortures and kills baby monkeys and posting them on the Telegram app for entertainment purposes.
